Current Top 10 and Falkin IV Registration Begins!
What a wild run it has been for our registered contestants of the Falkin III Stock trading competition!! From around the world our Leader Board is represented! And, to top it all off, after over 2 months of growing portfolios and trading stocks, there are only 19 trading days left!! Falkin IV, which starts the 2nd Monday in January, had registration begin today (details further down!).
Let’s find out more about some of these top 10 registered contestants! Has anyone been to Sweden lately, because Bjorn Lindgren (Bln) has shown that trading comes quite easily to people there, showing off an impressive 36.77% growth to his starting portfolio! LaNora Callahan (Landcal01), currently in 3rd place, proves that males aren’t the only ones who can trade stocks well. She has only had to make four transactions to yield her 17.05% growth! Also, Laura Petersen (Laurap23), out of the hot heat of Arizona US, has had no problems taking her top 10 spot sitting in 6th currently! Terry Barton (Northernlight), has processed over 31 transactions to get to where he is today, and sitting right behind LaNora in 3rd, has done quite a nice job! Bobby Chasnis (Bobby556) is only 17 years old, hasn’t even been involved in stocks for more than a few months, and has grown his account over 11%. Speaking of age, Dan Toth (Dtoth54), just had his 58th birthday party last month and is sitting in 10th! Sammy Elkassir (Sfetaz) has utilized margin, shorting, and even options to get his portfolio in 9th place. And finally, our top 10 is housed by some veterans to the Falkin Competition Series: Myself (stocktrading101), Jeff Nox (JeffBox), and Mark Zimmer (MDZ) who took 2nd the last two competitions, are all doing well holding their own ground. Below is our current top 10 going into the final stretch:
